My name is Keith Harris, and I am the Student and Worship Pastor at Duck Hill Baptist Church in Duck Hill, MS. I have been a believer since 1992, when God drew me unto Himself and saved me. I praise and thank God for saving me through the propitiation of His Son Jesus, and for the mighty work of Christ on the cross and His resurrection from the dead and the victory over death and hell that resulted from that. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to proclaim the Gospel and see others come to know Christ!
I am an extremely blessed man. I am blessed to be married to the woman of my dreams, Candice, since June 17, 2006. She is an awesome woman of God, amazing wife, and loving mother. She is a teacher who is very gifted in explaining math to children as well as being able to provide an example to teenage girls showing them what a godly woman looks and acts like. I am so thankful that God put her in my life. Candice and I have one child, Keri Elizabeth. She was born on January 15, 2010 and has changed our life immensely for the better.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in Secondary Education/English, which I pursued when I was ignoring the call on my life to preach. I am now working on my Master’s of Divinity through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and will one day – Lord willing – will have that degree.
At this point and time, I can think of nothing else to write.
